As we walked in to New Jawad we were greeted by a friendly gentleman with a welcoming handshake. He also brought us a complimentary Kir (white wine and crème de cassis, a black currant flavored liquor) to start the meal. Very nice!
We ordered butter naan, butter roti, and tandoori quail starters. We had lamb biryani, butter chicken, and panek paneer for our main courses. A lot of food. A lot of butter. But, we have been walking 100 miles a day so don’t judge. Ha!
While were waiting for our meal they brought a plate of papadum. It’s a thin, crispy flavored flatbread. Very good.
